We have the results of the first ever ESL Most Matches Competition for America's Army. During December teams playing in the ESL 4v4 Ladder were not only competing to win matches but were also automatically playing to win the MMC. It shouldn't always be the best teams who win prizes. That's why ESL awarded this month's most active participants.

Making up the double header of Map Series Cups from ESL is the Urban Assault Cup. This should be one of the biggest and highly contested one map cups in the history of AA. Get the chance to test yourself on one of AA's most popular maps against the rest of Europe. If long range Bridge ain't for you, then get signed up for this epic CQB event, starting on January 21st!

ESL are planning a series of one map cups to encourage more teams into competition. Starting off the one map cups will be the old pubbers favourite Bridge Crossing. All Bridge teams, long range lovers and pub clans are invited to participate. The ESL Bridge Cup will begin on Monday, January the 12th. So do not hesistate to get your teams signed up and get your winter woolies on and start practising!

After a great success of the ESL XMAS Cup, ESL decided to go on with their fun cups. This time our exciting two day event is called the ESL New Years Cup. This will be the last tournament of 2008, so see in the New Year with a bang. Starting on Sunday the 28th and finishing on Monday the 29th of December just before every handsome guy makes himself ready to party.

Christmas comes early on ESL with a new exciting two day event called the ESL XMAS Cup. Starting on the Sunday the 21st and finishing on Monday 22nd of December just before all the Christmas festivities begin. In the XMAS Cup there will be 4 new and exciting custom maps exclusive to ESL including ESLBorder, ESLWeaponsCache, ESLRummage and ESLDusk. So for all you players out there bored of the conventional way of playing maps, this tournament is just for you!

The Champ2Day Cup proves again to be a highly entertaining and competitive tournament with teams thoroughly enjoying the 3 day event from ESL. From Amateur to Pro teams were playing in exciting matches, all anxiously trying to get their names on the Champ2Day Cup and included in the ESL Hall of Fame.

This cup is a start of a new era for us and the Americas Army community, we will be testing our new map system that will change how competition is played. But first i will introduce our Champ 2 Day Cup! this cup will be played over the course of one week, This will all kick off on Tuesday 9th December continued on Wednesday 10th and the Final will be played on Thursday the 11th December. The cup will be played in single elimination mode and the 16 teams will be carefully selected into the appropriate group, either "Amature" or "Pro".

The ESL Autumn Cup has been a phenomenal success, highlighting all that is good about competition in Americas Army. With 64 teams competing and the matches being played out at a frantic pace throughout the short weeks, it only seems like a few weeks ago we were all playing in the first round. ESL is fast becoming the first choice for all teams wanting to play at a higher level of competition and the chance of winning prizes.

Tonight the last match of the ESL Autumn Cup will be played between the winner of the Winner Bracket Epsilon eSports and the winner or the Loser Bracket Team VELOCITY. The winner of this match will get 4 months of ESL premium accounts and take home the Saitek Cyborg 5.1 headsets! There was little pause for rest, as matches were played out over 12 rounds, with a 3 minute time limit. As teams were seeded for this tournament beforehand, most matches looked to be a mismatch, with some teams being totally outclassed from start to finish and others simply not showing up.

After talking about it and the high demand of teams wanting to enter this Autumn Cup we have decide to open the cup from not just 32 teams but a big 64 teams! Within the first couple of days the AAO ESL Autumn Cup filled all 32 spots! So now we present to you our ESL 4on4 Americas Army 64 Team Double Elimintation Autumn Cup.

The next installment of AAO action from ESL start's this October, we are going to be running a 4on4 double elimination cup.

The Premier division has been quite a surprise this season with a lot of outstanding results, but this seasons winners Envision Gaming have gone with an amazing clean sheet going through to the final's and crushing Team Exit's hopes for their first league title.

Americas Army is one of the upcoming games here at the Electronic Sports League which creates a large demand for admins to keep our competitions running well. In the past few months we've had a number of new admins join the team and it is time again to ask for more interested people to apply.

Since our Polish and Portuguese friends have some problems with the no pl/pt server rule (which we understand), here is the rule change. We can't make this rule 100% perfect for everyone but we think this rule is much better now.

We resetted the ladders some weeks ago to get a new and fair laddersystem, but theres no interest about the ladders until now. We decided to close all eu aao ladders.

The first Champ2Day Cup was a success! 8 Teams had nice matches and a lot of fun! Croissports won the first Champ2Day Cup, GMA reached the second Place and Epsilon finished on third position.

Community's well known James Carter, who already casted numerous european, north american and even australian top matches, will be live in the studio in Cologne.

The AAO EU League Season II is finally done. We saw exciting matches and we have to congratulate the champions Epsilon eSports and Utopia!
