The most active teams of the section Star Wars Battlefront II will be rewarded with premium memberships for their enthusiasm!

The long awaited ESL wide premium team 100% rule has now successfully been activated. This results in all premium teams needing 100% of their active players having premium to be counted as a premium team. Inactive/Honorary players do not count but are in exchange also not allowed to play anymore!

An important new specific rule regarding the use of mods in Star Wars Battlefront in the ESL has been created.

The most active teams will be rewarded with premium memberships for their enthusiasm!

Today an instant challenger function has been generated for our 1on1 Ladders in both Star Wars Battlefront I and II. With this innovation we hope to improve the process of match searching! Some of you might already know it from other sections like "ICQ Pool" or "Call Of Duty 4" where it has served successfully for a long time.

A lot of penalty points have been assigned in the past for the early leaving of matches. From now on we will distinguish between two special cases of early match stops to make it possible for weaker teams and players to legally give up in honour.

As we already stated in the news of the 03.07.2008 there are now (besides the standard root servers) also weaker root servers and gameservers of certain sources (for example 4netplayers) allowed for usage within the ESL ladders of Star Wars Battlefront I and II.

It is finally there: The "Star Wars Battlefront II - 1on1 Ladder"!

We have a new admin in the area of Star Wars Battlefront.

We want you to observe following news:

The ESL gave us the permission to start a 1on1 ladder in „Star Wars Battlefront“. Therefore we have to organize some things intern, of course. Particularly criterias like maps and specific rules of such a ladder.

There had been many different representatives of our "SWBF2 Community" on yesterday's meeting. Every clanleader and representative will have the opportunity to access the "ESL-Leaderboard".

We cordially invite all players of "Star Wars Battlefront II" to represent their own federal state in a cup! Therefore you have to contact the appropriate "Orga-Leader". A short message whether you would like to attend the "German Province Cup" with the notification of your mail should suffice.

The Xfire Community stands for faster organisation in the ESL 2on2 Ladder. We hope we can reach with this Xfire community a higher activity in the 2on2 Ladder. If you would like to join you can request on: <http://de.xfire.com/clans/2on2ladderswbf2/>

We want to invite your clanleader or a official representative, who is allowed to make decisions and speak in the name of his/her clan, to a common teamspeak meeting. This will take place on Friday, the 25th of July 2008 at 07.30 pmon the TS server of [EST] (IP 85.14.218.32:3232 – no password – ).

In addition to the previous dedicated servers we will now also allow the use of 4netPlayers and the remote manager.

The internal rules in the ESL declare that the language has to be english. Everyone has to keep this in mind.

After the voting within the adminteam, we are glad to present you the winner of the Wallpapercontest.

In fact of some changes (english as main language) combined with the adjustment of the SWBF I + II Ladder from DE into EU we decided to expanse our Adminteam with a moderator.
