Yet another team has decided to leave the EMS.

On Sunday seven matches will be played and the favorites of their respective groups fight with each other to be into the playoffs. The most of the teams allready know the other teams to estimate the upcoming matches.

In the third week of the EMS Groupstage III, it will be exciting as never before. Yesterday, six matches have been played and this matchday has set the favorites at the top of the table. In 3 of 4 groups the Germans are placed on the top of table. In the first group VeryGames leads with amazing score differences in the field.

Currently we are in the second matchday and today we expect five exciting matches in the ESL Major Series. After this sportfully evening there are only three playdays left. This means also three opportunities for the respective teams to fight themself to the top of the table until the participants in the EMS Playoffs are determined.

The ESL and Counterstrike Source are constantly maintaining. Therefore we have to adjust our rules according to those changes from time to time. So we have two major changes in our rules for Counterstrike Source.

Today we must sadly announce that another team has left the EMS. It seems that this is also due to inactivity as the team has been kicked out after they missed 2 matches.

Unfortunately we must announce today that London Mint has dropped out of the ESL Major Series.

Qualification Round 2 has begun! In a couple of weeks the third season of the ESL Major Series will fully begin with the Groupstage, but for now, we will update you with the latest information for the upcoming round.

On 20/10/2008 we will reopen the 2on2 Handgun Ladder. For now we added a maximum member restriction which allows 350 teams. The number of the maximum league participants will be increased / removed if we think that we can control the upcoming work.

An important change is taking place here in the European Counter-Strike: Source section. From now on Trusted Level 3 is required for all German and Alpen players in the ESL.

Today at 8:00 pm ESL TV will broadcast the final of the CS:S ESL Major Series between the German mTw and the French team of emuLate. The winner of this match will take home 1.500 Euros while the runner up will still get 900 euro. It looks like a promising match since mTw went through the competition undefeatet and emuLate took down the German champion ALTERNATE aTTaX.
