The final cup of our Weekend Cup Series which had been planned for tomorrow has to be moved into the new year. The new date is the 11th of January 2009.

The first major ESL Day of Defeat: Source Season is coming to an end, while the national teams still fight about the crown for their country, the clans found the best at each division already. We hope to see you next Season again, we have some good ideas for small events until Spring 2009 - see you then! For every first place we hand out 3 months of ESL Premium Accounts for the whole team, every second place recieves 2 months and all winners of the bronze finals are going to get one month automaticly.

Tonight we will see the end of another Day of Defeat: Source season, but our first through the ESL system. After the usual hiccups at the beginning and an unusual folding percentage we'll end this season in style with a clash between the two best clans Day of Defeat: Source has to offer at this moment!

Are you an active player here in the DoD:S section? Since October, the Most Matches Competition has come to the international sectin. Every month we will be rewarding the most active players. Check out whats the relevant ladder this month!

Recently, the Day of Defeat: Source ladder on this site has been a little bit too inactive. fAn and his admin team cooked up a nice surprise for you and hope the ladder will get more active in December and will continue to be a ladder worth playing in after.

The last Weekend Cup of 2008 which was open for everybody has been played and so we would like to present the winners.

Tonight is the first match in the Invite Semi Finals between the Spanish powerhouse k1ck and the Finnish veterans who've made an awfully impressive comeback, badbeat. Some members from the latter line-up will be familiar faces out of the Call of Duty 4 Scene for people who aren't really knowledgeable with Day of Defeat: Source. The maps will be golden oldie Anzio and actionpacked Harrington and the IP for the SourceTV is already made available so be sure to tune in!

Luckily, this year, the Nations Cup has crawled itself back into the daylight again for Day of Defeat: Source. It has been a few seasons and maybe even years back until the last tournament which tries to give an insight into which country has the best players around Europe was being held. This week the renewed tournament will be ready for it's kick-off!

As you maybe already noticed we give every team one more week time to play all remaining matches. So after week 5 of the groupstage is officialy finished you can still play your match(es) until 16th November 2008.

The fifth Weekend Cup is ready for signups. This is the last Weekend Cup for this year which is open for everyone as only the most successful teams of the whole series will be invited for the final Weekend Cup in December. So this is your last chance to get a ticket for the grand-final!

Welcome everybody to the very first season of the DoD:Source Nations Championship of the ESL! The EU DoD:Source team will supervise this cup. We hope to see a lot of nations sign up and we are planning on making this cup a great success!

Originally planned to take place only in August, the 1on1 Summer Cups lasted longer than expected and just finished a short while ago. So here are the winners of the 1on1 cups and the 2on2 and 3on3 Cups that were played in parallel.

New Seasons always start with some Qualifiers to decide who belong with the best and who should get used to a spot among the rest.

Here we go to start the Season with the final Groups and important Information.

This news includes the direct invites, qualifier matches and five open divisions for the upcoming Day of Defeat: Source Autumn 2008 Season. The Invite Divison will feature twelve teams, with six direct invites and twelve teams having the chance to qualify. The six qualifier matches have to be played between Sunday, 5th October 2008 and Tuesday, 7th October 2008. They will be played 4x15 with each team chosing one map out of the playoffs-mappool.

While many teams already signed up for the upcoming Season we worked on updating the Rules section and the Serverconfig.

As announced earlier signups for the ESL DoD:S tournaments are now open. You can signup until the 27th of September for the Day of Defeat: Source 6on6 Autumn 2008 Season. The best 12 teams will be invited to the Day of Defeat: Source Autumn 2008 Invite League.

Welcome to the new Day of Defeat: Source Fall Season 2008. We are proud to present you the three major tournaments of the european competitive scene. The signups for the first event will open at this Sunday, the 6th September. We will release the full mapcycle, updated rules and configs together with useful tutorials for all those who are not familiar yet with the ESL website and system. Pictures and texts in different languages will explain how to create a team and where to signup and contain every important information you need to have a great season here.

Yesterday the fourth Weekend Cup in 2008 took place and again we saw tense action and lucky winners! So please give kudos to the winners of this episode!

A short while ago, the playoffs of this year's SummerCups have been finished. So it is now time to give appreciation to the winners! It seems rather ridiculous, but in this season the french teams dominated the cup like never before. Have a look by yourself:

August is going to be a hot month, but not only when you go out through your door, but in the Day of Defeat:Source section of the ESL as well. The 6on6 Summer Cup is over and as most teams are now on vacation it is time to switch over to 1on1 and small teams. Throughout August, we will host three! 1on1 Cups and a 2on2 and 3on3 Summer Cup. The first one will happen on the upcoming Sunday, so hurry up and get ready to rumble!

The next cup of our 2008 Weekend Cup series is coming to you soon! So prepare to rumble at Sunday, the 24th of August. If you booked some holiday for this date then go cancel it and signup for this cup!

The last matches of the groupstage of this year's summercups has finished. Out of each division, eight teams will fight for the first place in their division. This time it will be all or nothing, because with one loss you are out of the tournament.

Some of you might wonder when looking at the title of this news. Winter Cup? Are they going crazy? It is summer! Yes, we apologize for the delay but we finally want to the present the winners of this season's ESL Winter Cup. The teams do deserve your appreciation so please stand up and show it.
