Five Months ago we announced the DotA International Premiership and now this special event will begin. The Premiership will be featured with 2100 Dollar prize money in three disciplines. By launching several tournaments for the DotA community we started to support the players of the most successful modification of Warcraft 3. Now we want you to play DotA gathers with us. The beginning of this week brought us a new Warcraft Patch that can seriously taken as the first DotA Patch for Warcraft. Since it brought some problems with DotA concerning the Runespawn, there has been a bugfix as well.

Upon several requests, the issue of PC filled slots in the 2on2 Ladder has been discussed again. We came to the conclusion that the majority of the teams wish to at least try a new approach.

Last season's ESL Major Series winner SK-Gaming is removed from this season's playoffs after accumulating 10 minor penalties for failing to follow simple rules and meet basic requirements.

Some of you might know already, others will never get to know it...there has been a major exploit inside the latest DotA release, that brings us to update to .52d. All games are changed to .52d with immediate effect.

Later this summer, new international premierships will be introduced with a total of $2,100 prize money! Along with the new rulebook and the new ladders, this is another major step in the renewal of the DotA Section.

After a long groupstage, tiebreakers and relegation, it is time to begin the DotA ESL Major Series Season II Playoffs. The best eight teams from the groupstage have qualified for the final stage of the competition. Who is the favourite to win? Maybe SK, or MYM or mouz? Expect exciting matches!

You guys out there have been pretty determined in reminding us that you are not satisfied with the current provided set of ladders. Now we announce the opening of the beloved 1on1 and 3on3 Ladders. You now have the full scale of possible systems. with the 1on1 Ladder with -arshom you can test your itembuild knowledge and show your true skills. In the 3on3 Ladder you can show your lane domination skills. We love it...and hope you will, too.

A few weeks ago the Groupstage of Season II ended, because teams tied with the same points in Groups A and C it was necessary to run tiebreakers which are now complete. Four teams are directly qualified for the Playoffs leaving 4 spots still to be filled. Now we have Relegation with the teams who finished 2nd and 3rd in their groups, the winners will go on to the Playoffs!

The Groupstage has found its end. We have found that most teams are very disciplined and triedto play their matches fair and punctual. But there where some teams who don´t do this and they make a chaos in our schedule leading to penalties and some chaos.

We finally announce our first action as your new team in charge of the international Section. The new rulebook is a complete remake, so all of you are obliged to read through it completely. Of course we did not only think about what we like them to be, but took into consideration what the whole DotA community and especially you prefer.

Now it is time to come to the end. We are going into the last week of ESL Major Series Season II. So far it has been a good groupstage and we are pleased, that many things are better than last season.

After 3 Playdays, we are very impressed with how some teams have been playing their games on time. Other teams are not so good and delay their matches day by day so you must continue to wait for some results from playday 1, 2 and 3. We today announce a rulechange concerning game Victory. Since there were many misunderstandings concerning the phrase "the last tower(the one in the base)" we decided to exchange this clause with the one from the new set of rules that will be online at the beginning of may. You now must give GG or get a main building destroyed to end the game.

As you can see, the 2nd Playday is over and most matches have been played. This means now we can give you a small forecast for which teams are favourite in their group and which teams are trailing behind. You can also find inside information on XsK's replacement.

The first Playday is not over yet. Over a half of all Matches in this Round are played. Teams like mouz, Meet your Makers and w4sp could win their matches and leave their opponents behind. But what did one playday say about the strength of the teams. Nothing. So lets see what happened and look to playday 2. Maybe, then we can have a ranking which is significant.
