ENC: Germany vs. Denmark - Results
The very last matches outstanding in group B, Germany vs. Denmark has no influence over who will qualify for the playoffs and the ENC Offline LAN Finals in Cologne, Germany. However, it will be determined who will leave the group stage on rank #2 and #3 in group B. In addition, this match will finish the group stage of the first European Nations Championship Season. The next stage will be the playoffs.

The national team of Austria, unreachable leader of the group, has directly qualified for the Finals. Hungary and Poland can no longer qualify and the team of the Switzerland was disqualified due to too many penalty points.

Germany and Denmark, ranked #2 and #3, will have to go through the playoffs. In the playoffs, one 2nd ranked team will play against one 3rd ranked team from another group, so the #2 team has the better starting position in the playoffs.

To become 2nd in group B, Denmark has to win over Germany. To keep their current #2 position, Germany needs a draw or a win.

To bring the excitement of the match between Germany and Denmark on your home PCs, the match will be broadcasted live on ESL TV. As usual, you can also follow the match on HLTV and IRC.

To watch the game on ESL TV, go to the programme overview and select "Subscribe" next to the show. To reserve a place on the stream, you will need to have a premium account. This show will be broadcasted in German.

Statements to the game:
Rami Allouni (Team Manager) : The match against Team Denmark will determine whether or not we finish 2nd in our group, and face a team ranked 3rd in the Playoffs, or 3rd, and face a 2nd place team. Thus, it is extremely important to us to receive a good starting position for the playoffs. On top of everything else, we feel responsible to our fans for our unfortunate defeat against Team Austria. We will be highly motivated to win this match and will particpate from the Login Lanstation. Visitors are welcome :) Hopefully our performance will be better than that of our footballers!

Max Bendtsen (Team Captain) : We are looking very much forward to this match, playing germany is always exiting, always very close matches we play against them. They have a very strong team and are without doubt to be considerd as one of the favoirites to go all the way. They lost agaist Austria with 16-14 in a very good game, we lost 18-12 in the same game vs austria never getting our tacs as T to work. We hope that the tacs we have prepared for sundays game will work out a hell of lot better than they did vs Austria, but you never know :) Dust2 is a map everybody knows well so, I think the match will be decided on wich team has the better tacs for the map and or the team who are most willing to win. I dont dare predicting an outcome of the match it could go either way, 50/50 i should say

Good Game @ Östereich

MUHAHAHA
