Premiership - R6: Results
This time on Thursday again: The sixth round of the ESL Premiership sponsored by RedLine-Prod.com is over and we are looking forward to the seventh and last round. But before this final step we have to look back again and refresh the last results.

Premierleague Matches:

Excello vs. Begrip

This match should be the pre-decision in the relegation ranks. The match was slitted completely: The 1on1 Kluhtu vs. Jeremy was played on Saturday and Jeremy won with 4:7. Then, on Sunday, Kluhtu and Pomka played the 2on2 against KarjeN and Jeremy. Again: Begrip won with 2:5. Until then it looked like a total win for Begrip, as the two best xLo players with Kluhtu and Pomka where defeated. Even the second 2on2 on Monday with Tampis and MortaL agains Yam and KaLi tells this story: 1:5 for Begrip. But Exello should come back in the second 1on1 and the 5on5. Rewind lost his 1on1 with 7:0 and the 5on5 ended 7:3. That's why Begrip just won with 3:2 and 21:20.

Webone vs. faculty.Seasonic

In the beginning of the season this match was set to be the most interesting and close match of the whole season. This match should assign the number one in the Premier League. After Webone's bad start and faculty's pwnage in the beginning most of this minds where gone. Finally it was the match we wanted to see. Unfortunately faculty didn't get they best Lineup, so we have to wait until they both meet in the playoffs again to get a real topmatch. On Sunday Maxou and rapt had the first 2on2 against Ice and F0x. Because of Maxou's great constancy w1 won this one with 5:3. In the 5on5 all non German players from faculty, except of Ice, played. Because of the European Championship Final, where Germany fought against Spain - and lost :(. So that wasn't their best lineup. Therefore they lost with 7:3 and it was 2:0 overall for the moment. The both 1on1s where on Tuesday, where Ice played a nice 1on1 against Carl and won with 4:7. That should be the first and only point for faculty in this match. The other 1on1 and the 2on2 on Wednesday were lost with 7:5 and 5:4. Nevertheless that are all close results in a close and interesting match. Overall score: 4:1 // 28:22. GG both teams.

RedLine vs. nEophyte

This match has a short report: nEophyte wins by default with 0:5 and 0:31. Even the next match against Webone is already reported as a default win for Webone. Finally RedLine already loses 15 submatches by default. To end this Premier League in a fair way, I will enter a 0:5 and 0:31 in every match they did this season. Additional I decided to add a new rule for Season II to avoid such problems. You can read more about this in the Season II announcement as soon as it is released.

Nordlichter vs. keenGeneration

After their great performances in the last few matches against Webone (4:1) and faculty (3:2) they nearly reached the top of the league. Of course they were the favourites in this match, but NorD fought well: Just the 1on1 rev vs. GuiGui ended in favour of kG (1:7). Clane did a great job in all submatches and won his 1on1 with 7:1 against Lookid and the 2on2 with raptor 5:1. NorD could also win the 5on5 with 7:4. The other 2on2 also were won by NorD 5:3. Overall score: 4:1 and 25:18, great performance NorD! With this win NorD makes the Premier League thrilling again. Six out of eight teams can reach the playoffs and we will have a nice last playday with matches like Begrip vs. kG and faculty vs. nEophyte. gL and hF for them.

Featured Second League Match:

SL-Communis vs. QuiD Racing

Unfortunately many teams in the Second League forfeited, so that there were only three match this week. Two matches were default wins. The left one is this: SL, for who the direct promotion but at least the Relegations are sure won easy against QuiDR with 4:1 and 29:10. Just the 5on5 ended in favour of QuiDR with 5:7. Good game both. SL just need 2, better 3 points now against Team 2Fast4u to reach the direct promotion.

Featured Third League Match:

exZenie vs. Revoltados

This week it could be possible to write down about 3 or 4 matches from the Third League, all pretty important in their groups. Finally I chooses this one, because its the closest of all. Before this match exZenie were first in their group. The 1on1s ended with 1:1 (7:2 and 4:7). Same the 2on2s (5:0 and 4:5). So in the end the 5on5 has to decide. Revoltados showed a great performance with winning it 1:7. After this close defeat against ReV, exZ are at the same point level as Revoltados and FearFactory. They all have 15 points. That gives us some nice matches for the last playday:

  • Fear Factory vs. Revoltados and
  • exZenie vs. IR_Tora

  • IR_Tora are 4th at the moment with 11 points, even a 5:0 win can not catapult them to the top, but I am sure that they wont lose their reputation. Even in the other groups of the Third League are nice matchups:

In group C FGP and Sk8 Club fight in two different matches for the promotion. They both have 11 points.

  • Falcons O.F.S. vs. FGP
  • Team Brauweiler vs. Sk8 Club

  • We wish them and of course also all the other teams gl for their last regular match in this Premiership Season I sponsored by RedLine-Prod.com.

Do somebody know second criterion if two teams have the same count of points?
    05/07/08 17:15  #9
     SL FIP5
then win/loss ratio of rounds(from each submatch) counts

really unfair idea to put it above match of the 2 teams, and even worse that it´s not writen officialy, and only few teams know about it...

A shame that ppl didn't come to me earlier to remind me to write them down and a shame that sometimes ppl complain about bad things but don't recognize the good ones:

    http://www.esl.eu/eu/tmnf/rules#rule_29423
    http://www.esl.eu/eu/tmnf/rules#rule_29432

I wrote it down. The admin staff will think about rule changes, also in that section, for Season II.

And I am happy to read such criticism Iraide, because that's the point where we notice, that something goes wrong.
For me, I think that its much more important to have a constant activity over the whole season than just in one match. But as I said: We will think about this point.

in my eyes its very similar situation as it was in the premier league with redline... this defwin is directly affecting the results of that group...im not judging, if it was because of real internal problems or friendship, but the fact is that evonix got 5pts and 32rounds for nothing, while mmori and old had to fight hard for them
in my humble opinion, to be fair, those matches should be deleted as it was in the 1st league

the problem in the first league was that redLine forfeitet around 40% (maybe more) of ALL submatches of the whole season
which means 14 out of 35 submatches were forfeited
here they only forfeit 5 submatches what is 1/7 of all
and if you wanna delete now all matches of a team that forfeits 1 match... it doesn't make much sense tbh

Well the problem is, that I have to do it like this in every situation, if I do it once here. Redline gave more than one defwin, so I decided to gave all their opponents a defwin. If I delete all matches of teams who have to give one defwin, because of several problems, every teams is more forced to play. Playing TMNF has to be fun not enforcement. It's just my opinion...
Maybe I should do a vote or smth but as I said: We are thinking about this point for the next season! In this season there won't be any decision like this again.

#16 its 1/5 of all submatches
but the main problem is, that every round is counted here, Evonix, before that match, got an average of ~ +10 for a match ...so +31pts is like they have played 3matches instead of one
i know its only statistics, but it doesnt seems to me fair, if a team, which wins every match can be pwned by a defwin
and i never said, that bullracing should be kicked out of the league, they surely deserves the 3rd div....only their matches should not be counted for the teams, they are fighting for the relegation
hope you understand my point of view :)

    sorry #18 but 5/35 = 1/7 ...

the teams left so 5/25, but i wasnt talking about submatches but the win/loss ratio, cause its the 2nd criterium
imo... if 2 or more teams got same points, and if one of them got a defwin, than these pts (played or "defwined") should not be counted for any of them
    +31pts is just too much
so count the win/loss ratio from the other matches

Ah I see... well that's a nice idea, I will think about it. This time there is no difference even if I will do it like that, because OLD got a defwin against VIS ;)
    06/07/08 20:16  #23
     °iR Daddy_mfX
yeah, i know... but you cant compare 2teams in that way, bullracing showed way much resistance than VIS

ok Im annoying, so i better stop the feeding^^

Bullracing could easily win 1 or 2 points over EvoniX, not so much difference between these two.
When just one team goes up to II league, every point is very important.

Well rL forfeit is ok I think, they have a lot of forfeited submatches :)

But you said that n! didn't played with their best lineup, but that was the same for us ( lign, dridri, ghost weren't there, and rapt, tannis, carl not rly trained because of ESWC.FR/Masters).^^

Nevertheless, I hope to meet them again in playoffs :D. I rly think it'll be a close & intense match.

GL @ premiership teams for round7 & cya in playoffs :)
