In the European Nations Championship 2008 Finals the best teams from different countries all over Europe competed in several games. In the course of the Intel Extreme Masters Season III the first of a whole series of tournaments was held at the Games Convention: The Global Challenge Leipzig. WoW teams from Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom and the USA competed in this tournament.

We are happy to announce a first list of participants for our World of Warcraft kick-off tournament at Games Convention in Germany. In the Global Challenge Leipzig, 16 of the world's best WoW-teams will fight for a total prize money of 30,000USD and 2 Global Final slots for their continent. From 22nd until 24th of August these teams will make sure that it is going to be one of the best tournaments that the WoW-community has ever seen.
