European Nations Championship 2008
We are proud to announce the next season of the European Nations Championship for 2008. Once again we present the fight for the title of Europe's strongest national team for a long run this year. From February to August teams from all over Europe will do their best to reach the finals and to represent their home country honourably.
The European Nations Championship has been founded in 2004 and has become the one tournament to find the best national team in European eSport. Since then, most of Europe's countries fight once a year for honor, prestige and – of course – prize money. The chosen games right from the start were Counter-Strike and Warcraft 3. Later - in 2005 - games such as the FIFA series and Unreal Tournament 2k4 followed. Now the FIFA series is a constant part of every European Nations Championship.

Last year's finalists went to Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany to contend for a total prize money of 50,000 Euro. The only European Nations Champions till then were Sweden and Germany who also both won every final match they reached. But last year this ban was broken. With Poland in Counter-Strike 1.6 and Finland in Warcraft 3 two new European Nations Champions were born. And in 2008 we will once again bring the best four nations in every discipline to the worlds largest game exhibition. Have a look at the pictures from 2007:
